SAVE OUR TENANTS & STOP THE DEVELOPERS- WPCA

Whalers Peninsula Community Housing Association (WPCA) is a not-for-profit, charity association solely run by volunteers; WPCA is located in the Fleurieu Peninsula with the business of assisting people in need. HOMELESSNESS is a major problem and only getting worse with the current national housing crisis.

WPCA leases a 12-bedroom house that we have invested over $125,000 into to accommodate homeless people. We have had over 1000 people utilize this house and call it home over the past 12 years. The current 12 tenants came to WPCA at the lowest times in their lives, some were suicidally vulnerable and in need of a warm bed, NOW we run the risk of turning them back to being homeless, vulnerable and uncertain of where their life is going.

THIS HOUSE is under threat of being sold to the developers as the owners are selling due to illness. If WPCA doesn't raise the 1.2 million for this house 12 people will be out on the street yet again.
