Help Whatley Family Rise from the Ashes

UPDATE: Your emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial support for the Whatley Family has been met with an overwhelming response. I am grateful beyond measure, and I have no doubt every member of the Whatley family feels loved and supported by this community.

Their immediate needs have been met, except for a rental home. They would love to stay in their current community if possible. Please share any leads here or Jaime Snell on Facebook Messenger directly if you know of any leads. This includes any leases of rental homes about to expire, homes for sale with owners open to renting for one year before selling, or new buyers open to renting for one year before establishing residency.

With that said, we have closed the GoFundMe page. Once the family is established into a temporary home, I will set up a meal train and a SignUpGenius to donate home goods and other necessities.

Our sweet Whatley Family of Pelham Falls, Greer, SC, has lost their home and many personal belongings to a house fire on June 25th.

All family members, including the family dog, are safe through God's grace. However, the aftermath of this fire has rendered the family home and much of its contents unsalvageable.

This GoFundMe is being set up to help raise money while the family attempts to rebuild their lives, establishing a safe home where they can continue to raise their amazing, brave three young men, Chapman (14), Aiden (11), and Bo (9).

Liz and Shane are remarkable pillars of our community, blessed with faith, strength, and resilience. They are living examples of how to have grace, love, faith, hope, and kindness, even in the darkest of times.

While I have no doubt this family will persevere and rebuild their foundation (literally and figuratively) better and stronger than before, I ask that you help get them started by contributing to and sharing this page with others.
