Help Widowed Mother of Lyft Tragedy

“It takes a village...”
Hello Good People, I am Gerri and I am asking for help for my friend, Camila Wright. I met Camila this year through my military mentor and her church friends.
Camila was living a normal and happy life with her husband Shahriar and 1-yr old daughter Zoya. One day as a Lyft driver, while dropping off a passenger in Atlanta, Shahriar was murdered by gunshot. He was just 36 years old and a new husband and father. This was tragic for Camila, her daughter Zoya, as well as Shahriar’s family and friends. You can tell from the photos just how much he adored his wife and daughter and how happy they were as a family.
Here is how you can help!
Before the tragedy, Camila and her husband purchased a home in need of updates and repairs. Her husband had plans to do most of the work himself. Obviously, that plan has not come to fruition, and between her dedication to her daughter and mission, the repairs have manifested to need.
Estimates for renovations and repairs just for a section of the home are averaging $60K+ and coming up with this amount is an effort of faith and love. I thought of helping her out with this campaign knowing there are a lot of good people out there ready to help someone in need. I am putting up the first $1,000 to show support and get the ball rolling. Will you help Camila in this time of need and show her that she is not alone and that the world still has good people left in it?
Every donation, any amount no matter the size, will make a huge difference. All donations will be warmly accepted and highly appreciated towards the home renovation project. Thank you so much for being kind with donations, prayers, and kind messages of support.
Warm Hugs,
Gerri
