Help wife who lost her husband in tragic accident
Donation protected
I met Luis when we were assigned to be companions on our missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala. Luis was from Honduras and is the most gentle, most kind person I have ever met.
While working on an internet antenna on a tall building, Luis fell 125 feet, and immediately died on impact.
He leaves behind his wife, pregnant with their second baby in October, and their 7-year-old son.
Luis worked lots of hours to earn enough to support his family. Earning enough to feed his family and pay bills was a challenging feat in Honduras, a poor country with a low average income. Luis's wife, Karla, is now left to not only grieve and attempt to cope with daily life, but also the burden of suddenly being the sole provider for their little family.
The day before Luis's tragic accident, Karla had shared the happy news that she was expecting their second child. All funds will go to help her support their family with food, clothes, rent, etc.
Thank you for the help!
I love you Luis.
