Support Prada-Blounts After Losing Our Home.

We lost everything in the Eaton Canyon wildfire that devastated our Altadena neighborhood. We had to evacuate in the middle of the night as the fire spread rapidly, and by morning, we returned to find our home on Calaveras Street completely destroyed.

We grew up in Altadena seeing our parents work hard their entire lives to put a roof over our heads and raise us, and it’s heartbreaking to see so much of their work gone and the uncertainty in their lives right now.

Unfortunately my mom’s cars she uses for her house cleaning business were completely burned as well. Including much equipment she and her team would use for work.

We’re asking for support to help us and our housemates, Paulo and Elton, get their life back after this devastating loss. Your kindness will help us meet urgent needs, find stability, and move forward during this challenging time.

Perdimos todo en el incendio de Eaton Canyon que devastó nuestro vecindario en Altadena. Tuvimos que evacuar en medio de la noche mientras el fuego se propagaba rápidamente, y por la mañana, regresamos para encontrar nuestra casa en la calle Calaveras completamente destruida.

Crecimos en Altadena viendo a nuestros padres trabajar duro toda su vida para poner un techo sobre nuestras cabezas y criarnos, y es desgarrador ver que gran parte de su trabajo se ha ido y la incertidumbre en sus vidas en este momento.

Desafortunadamente, los coches de mi mamá que usa para su negocio de limpieza de casas también se quemaron por completo. Incluyendo mucho equipo que ella y su equipo usaban para trabajar.

Estamos pidiendo apoyo para ayudarnos a nosotros y a nuestros compañeros de casa, Paulo y Elton, a recuperar su vida después de esta pérdida devastadora. Su generosidad nos ayudará a cubrir necesidades urgentes, encontrar estabilidad y seguir adelante en este momento tan difícil.
