Help Wild Roots Recover from Hurricane Losses
Donation protected
Dear Wild Roots friends and family,
The loss of revenue we've sustained over the past weeks due to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton has hit our small business hard.
Summer is our slow season, and this one was the slowest we've had in years. We stick it out counting on business to pick up in the fall, but this October has been extremely difficult. In the wake of these back-to-back hurricanes, sales have plummeted. Workshops, markets, and private events have been canceled. I was hopeful when we were able to reopen quickly after a week of being closed for Milton, but we have had very few sales since reopening.
This has left us in a tough spot and we need to ask for your help to keep us operating while our city recovers from these devastating natural disasters.
Wild Roots is more than just a plant shop. It has been a solid part of the St. Pete community over the years. The shop has provided a happy space for numerous weddings, creative workshops, fundraisers, yoga classes, concerts, local vendor markets, and so much more. My only wish is to be able to keep it going so everyone can enjoy it again when things are better.
We did have some damage to the outside of our shop including our beautiful sign, but nothing we can’t live without for now. Any funds we receive will be used for paying rent, upcoming bills, and our staff payroll.
Thank you for supporting us by either donating our sharing our story. We are so grateful for our incredible community.
Stay Wild,
