Help will get answers and relief

My name is Jennifer and I’m raising funds to get ( my husband ) Will to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota to see the a top neurology specialist August 10th where we will spend 3-7 days on campus being tested and figuring out the best treatment for will . He was diagnosed with Stiff person syndrome 6 years ago and has been battling this nasty disease for 13 years . He has suffered muscle spasms throughout his whole body and here recently seizures on top of muscle spasms and cramps ( if you’ve ever seen an episode you would know why this is so important to help him ) . They’ve tried countless treatments and medicines but nothing is working and the further this progresses the worse his spasms and cramps get & we are hoping for more answers . Here in Illinois they’ve ran out of options and don’t know how to properly treat him so we are going to a elite neurologist that specializes in Stiff person syndrome and hopefully they can find some kind of treatment that will work and give him some relief. Of course with it being out of state our insurance is being a pain and giving us the run around and will not cover this expense which is why I’m starting this page. The $5000 deposit was paid today and he is secured with his appointment & the hotel is booked for a week so this money raised will be used for the finalized bill after he is treated by the doctor @ Mayo Clinic .
