Help William's proper funeral and burial

William Topel left us early this morning for his heavenly home. While he was here with us, he gave everything he could to protect our freedom from a state government financially out of control.

He was a tireless advocate for families who are less fortunate. There is no citizen in the State of

Alaska who fought more to attempt to force legislators to follow the law and pay out a

full PFD. He testified for many of our liberties on countless fronts too many to mention.

William was a man in the streets. He gave us everything he had and left nothing for himself. It was very difficult to maintain any economic standing as William was hard hit with the public school closures

as he made his living as a substitute teacher. Although he did get some unemployment benefits during

his employment disruption, it was barely enough to pay essential bills.

Through it all, William continued to give every last dime he could for us. Any extra he had went into

the collection plate at church. He lived a simple life with his heart wide open for all he encountered.

We can all help by donating for his funeral and burial expenses. The very least we can do is give

William dignity in his earthly place of rest. Please help in this effort.
