Help Wilson's family with unexpected funeral costs

Hi, my name is Jen Ruggerio. My husband, Lee, and I are hoping to raise money for Philip Wilson's parents to help pay for his funeral expenses. This will include cremation here in Vegas, airfare for his parents to come here so they can meet his work family and friends and bring him home with them, then services back in Scotland.

Philip F Wilson passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2024 at the age of 45. The cause of death is still unknown, so we request that everyone be patient until the coroner’s office finishes the investigation. They told us it could be up to 12 weeks.

Throughout his life he frequently traveled on tours with bands that he spoke so highly of. When he was home in Las Vegas he built guitars and worked as a stagehand.

Wilson, as he was known in the U.S., was a dear friend to all. Many of his coworkers gathered together to support each other as they heard the news. They shared stories that made us all laugh, as well as expressing how much they respected him as a leader or even a father figure. Many painted their fingernails his favorite color: purple.

Wilson was a musician, an artist, a friend, a mentor, and an all around great human. His loss will be felt around the world.
