Help Winston Stoute Rebuild After Devastating Arson Attack

At 2:30 am on November 20, 2024, tragedy struck Winston Stoute, the owner of Nature Island Transportation. His commercial semi-truck cab—a lifeline for his family and business—was intentionally set on fire in a senseless act of arson. The cab was completely destroyed, and the extent of damage to the engine and attached trailer remains unknown.

Winston, a U.S. Army Veteran (Sergeant) and partial disability recipient, served his country honorably and became an American citizen while deployed in Iraq. Originally from Dominica, the "Nature Island" of the Caribbean, Winston has dedicated himself to building Nature Island Transportation into a thriving family business over the past 10 years.

A devoted father to five children, ranging in age from 4 to 23 years old, Winston has also been a dedicated commercial truck driver for nearly two decades. This catastrophic loss not only threatens his livelihood but also jeopardizes the stability of his family.

Without his truck, Winston stands to lose all of his income—income he relies on to support his family and keep his business afloat. To make matters worse, the fire destroyed his essential paperwork, driver’s license, and most of his clothing. It is unclear if insurance will cover the damages, leaving Winston in a precarious position.

Thankfully, Winston escaped unharmed and is grateful to the Most High for sparing his life. But rebuilding from this loss will be an immense challenge, and he needs your help to recover.
