Help Wissam's Family Escape War and Famine
Donation protected
My name is Casimir, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Wissam and her family--Ibrahim, their daughter, and unborn child. Harsh conditions have induced famine, and she can no longer provide food for her daughter, and her husband has fallen ill. They have no support of any kind and are exposed to the elements. They won't be able to survive like this for much longer. Please help her and her family evacuate.
Here is their story:
I am Wissam, married to Ibrahim, he is very sick and I am pregnant. I don't know how to describe to you the feeling of war, pain, suffering and destruction that we live here. Just imagine that I lost my home and my job and lived through the destruction.
We have been at war for a year or more. I live in a small tent in the cold and winter. My daughter needs health care, but I am alone and under these circumstances I cannot give her the most basic rights. We are now in a severe famine and cannot find any kind of food. She needs healthy food, but even that has become difficult to obtain due to exploitation and the lack of the most basic resources. Here in the tent we drowned due to the heavy rains. Surviving death is so difficult that they closed the crossing in front of us and now we cannot travel and we are still here in Gaza, the destruction.
Here we can no longer bear this life.
I created this campaign so that I and my family can get out of here when the crossing opens. But even getting out is not easy. Because we need coordination from Egypt and we have to pay $5000 per person. We are 3 people. I need to save my life and the life of my family from death and you are the only way that can help me achieve that. Your cooperation with me and your presence will save our lives from death.
I know that you are capable of it and I trust you and I will be grateful to every person who will help me.
Please donate even just a dollar. Thousands of people see these campaigns and pass them around. If every one of those people donated even a single dollar, they would be funded in no time. There is a persistent idea that a lone person must shoulder the burden of funding a campaign and offer hundreds of dollars at once, but that is not true. While a single wealthy individual could indeed fund these, individuals working together can achieve even more.
