Help with Alesia’s Funeral Expenses

Alesia Kilgore was born on May 22nd 1986. From a young age Alesia  had a love for fashion and art, she attended and graduated from VCU school of arts with a bachelors degree in fashion. Her dreams was to become a fashion designer and personal stylist . However during her time at VCU  she was diagnosed with lupus and rhomboid arthritis in 2012. She struggled with daily pain from her chronic illness that brought many challenges to her everyday life and wellbeing. During the year of 2016  Alesia was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis a condition that causes permanent scarring on the lungs that would have required a double lung transplant. Alesia unfortunately struggled 8 years with her illness along with other conditions such as fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, depression and anxiety. Toward the end Alesia began struggling with shortness of breath that made it unbearable for her to do her normal activities. Her lung condition progressed at this time and caused her to suddenly lose consciousness. Alesia was later revived at the hospital but went on to have 5 cardiac arrests within just a few hours. At this time she went into septic shock and her blood pressure began to drop the doctors were unable to stabilize her blood pressure. Alesia passed away on April 10th at 3:00 am. 

The family of Alesia Kilgore are looking to raise money for Alesia’s funeral expenses because at the time of her passing she did not have life insurance. The family at this time are asking for prayers and any donations that you can give ,no amount is too small.
