Help with Baby Emma’s Cancer Treatment Expenses
Donation protected
Hi everyone, as some of you may know, our sweet baby Emma has been diagnosed with stage 2 germ cell cancer. In June of 2021, Emma began complaining of a tummy ache. Her parents, Stephanie and Carlos, took her into the ER where they ran some imaging tests and blood work and learned she had a large mass in her abdomen above her kidney. Emma underwent surgery to remove the mass a few days later. The surgery was successful and Emma was soon recovering. Her parents awaited the pathology results on the mass and were soon told the mass was cancerous. Since the mass was removed in its entirety, they were hopeful the cancer had not spread to any other parts of her little body and that she would not need chemotherapy. After a few weeks of monitoring her blood work and additional imaging tests, it was soon determined she would need a twelve week treatment of chemotherapy. Her first day of treatment is fast approaching. We are hopeful that Emma will be cancer free after treatment. Her parents are absolutely heartbroken that this is her new reality. Emma is a loving, playful, and very active little girl. We ask that you find it in your hearts to help this hurting family. All donations will go to any costs not covered by health insurance and income replacement for her parents as they are already running out of paid leave. We thank you in advance for your generosity and we ask that you continue to lift up our baby Emma in your prayers. #EmmaStrong
