Help Baby Jett Lee with his medical expenses

This fund raiser is focused on raising money to help with medical bills for the Lee family that have been through significant hardship associated with the care and multiple surgeries for their beautiful little boy Jett.  Unfortunately, Jett has had very serious medical issues from the time he was born and has gone through multiple complications in his short 7 months of life.  The most serious is the internal complications with is bowels. 

The family is now facing a huge step in Jett's care and will be moving him to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus OH for specialized care.  This is very concerning in many ways, and the physical distance from their home in Wisconsin is also weighing heavy on their minds. 

Jett underwent surgery in July, 2020, however it was not successful and has caused additional complications that will be the next big step in his care.  A specialist team at Nationwide Children's Hospital will need to remove the dead part of his bowel, re-hook up the good part to some of his small intestine and remove his current stoma.   They will need to move the stoma to the other side of his stomach. Create an entire new anus and then hook everything up how it is supposed to be inside. He will have the stoma in place while he heals from the surgery which will be at least 2 months.  After that the stoma will be removed and we pray he will have normal bowel functions, but there is still a lot of uncertainty if this will be successful as this is a complicated and very serious surgery.

As you can imagine the medical bills and out of pocket expenses are overwhelming from the previous surgeries Jett has had and now they are facing an even bigger challenge as his care will take this family out of state.  We appreciate any help you can give to this very special family financially but most importantly, we ask for you healing prayers for Jett as he heads into another very serious surgery the week of October 19th, 2020.
