Help with Bev Keller's Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, this is Ethan Urfer and Jody Niklaus, Bev is a great friend of ours. We
are asking you to support one of the most selfless people we know.
Many of you know Bev Keller as the editor of The Budget Newspaper
and a champion of causes. You will often find Bev within the area
serving as a volunteer wherever she can offer support. By her kind
nature, no one is a stranger, and she strives to help anyone in need.
Sadly, Bev is now the one in need. Her whole life changed recently
when she stepped on a razor blade. She developed Cellulitis and later
learned she also had Osteomyelitis. She has had two toes on her right
foot amputated, ankle surgery on her left ankle where osteomyelitis was
discovered, and a host of broken bones from suspected Charcot. Bev was
released to return home with the hope that antibiotics would clear the
infection; otherwise she could face a total foot and ankle amputation.
After two weeks at home, Bev awoke to dizziness and flu-like
symptoms. Three days later, Bev was taken by the EMS to the ER. After
various tests, a tumor was discovered in her stomach. Unfortunately,
biopsies confirmed cancer, and currently she is still fighting the foot and
ankle infection. Bev plans to receive care at The James Center at Ohio
State University.
Bev is a woman of faith and believes in the power of prayer. She and her
family and friends would greatly appreciate your prayers and any
donations to help in her growing medical expenses. Please consider
showing your support with a donation. This is an opportunity to give
back to someone who has so graciously given to others.
