Help with Carlos Funeral and Debbra Travel Costs

Hello, I am Debbra Terrell the mother of Carlos Tavarez. I have created this Go Fund Me page, asking for donations of any amount to help with funeral expenses, travel cost to get me back to Florida and to help with finances while I will be off from work.

As most of you know that I reported my son Carlos Tavarez missing two years ago in July of 2022. Carlos was last seen near Faith St. in Flagler Estates. After a long two- year search there were multiple tips that led the detective to dead ends, until on February 8, 2024, a citizen called the St. Johns County Sheriff’s office reporting they found skeletal remains in a wooded area of their property in Flagler Estates. Over the next few months with the help of SJSO Major Crimes Department, Forensics Unit and Florida Gulf Coast University they have located more human bones in the same area. The bones were sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. On July 31, 2024, the remains were positively identified to belong to my son Carlos Tavarez, but his cause of death remains unknown.

It is in moments of sadness and loss when people come together to help one another to make it through the tough times. I am so thankful for all the calls and message asking how they could help me at this difficult time, so I am asking for donations of any amount to help with Funeral Expenses, travel cost to get me back to Florida and to help with finances while I am off from work.
