Help with Chase’s leukaemia journey.

Hi all,
Thank you so much for taking time to read this and consider donating.

Monday the 24th of October will always be a milestone for Chase and his family. This milestone that will forever be one of the worst days that any family, who has not experienced this themselves, will ever imagine. It is not something that anyone can prepare for, predict or even understand. But October the 24th 2022 will forever be known as the day that little four-year-old Chase was diagnosed with Leukaemia (T-Cell ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia).

Chase is the youngest of four children and lives with both parents in regional Victoria. Chase is a typical active and inquisitive four-year-old, who loves cars, trains, and playing with his siblings and puppy nanna.

Life for Chase was exciting, fun, and interesting until the life he was growing into would change forever, after receiving his diagnosis.

On the 24th of October, Chase was sent to Melbourne for treatment with his mother and this intensive treatment will span over the next 6 to 8 months of their lives. Beyond this time there will be regular appointments and treatments to ensure that Chase can beat this cancer. Due to the extensive time away from their usual home in regional Victoria Chase’s, mum had to leave her place of employment and relocate to Melbourne with Chase. While Chase is in Melbourne, his father and siblings continue to attend work and school throughout the week, maintaining the life Chase will one day return to, and travel back and forth on weekends to Melbourne to see Chase and their mother.

Since the 24th of October, the whole family has had to rearrange their whole lives, postpone upcoming family events and adjust to new roles to ensure that Chase can beat this cancer. Chase is well supported by his mother and grandparents and external family members, but we are wanting to raise funds to help support the family through these next few months and reduce any extra financial pressure that the family is currently beginning to feel. And to also provide Chase with an I-Pad to keep him connected to his family in regional Victoria and entertain him while he is based in the hospital.

We appreciate your time in reading this and any contribution that you can make.
