Family in crisis: help for bills, & childcare
Donation protected
UPDATE: Sadly, Andrew’s remains were recovered high above the Y lookout in Provo during a search and rescue effort on April 6, 2022. His family and friends are devastated by the news, but relieved to finally know what happened to Andrew, and to let him Rest In Peace. Donations are still being accepted to alleviate the financial burden left on his wife and two children.
Andrew Gulledge, 41 years old, from North Salt Lake, Utah, went missing on the evening of December 31, 2021. Andrew unexpectedly left a hotel room at the Provo Marriott, leaving behind his phone, wallet, car, and all of his possessions. The temperatures over New Year's weekend were below freezing, and Andrew has not been seen or heard from since by anyone.
Sadly, Andrew has been suffering from an ongoing mental health crisis and was in the midst of a severe episode when he went missing. Needless to say, his family is incredibly concerned about Andrew's well being with each passing day. The Provo Police Department detectives are on the case, but there are currently no leads. Of course, our hope is that Andrew did not attempt to enter the canyon or stay on the street during these freezing winter nights, and that no harm has come to him.
Andrew is the only income earner in the home. His wife, Lesley, has been left alone with their nine month old and three year old, and the financial burden of the household. While friends and family have stepped up greatly with childcare and household help, we feel it is necessary to hire childcare for the family. Additionally, money is needed for the mortgage and other expenses.
We are asking for the financial support of the community to help this family stay afloat during this crisis. If you can, a donation of any amount will help during these uncertain times.
While search parties have not yet been arranged as the Provo PD is still determining leads, we will know more about that soon.
