Help with Chris Emery’s Medical Expenses

Donation protected

*update- he was able to get heart surgery and is now recovering. We are BEYOND grateful for all the support and love. <3*

On February 16th my dad, Christopher Emery, had a heart attack out of nowhere while driving and got into a horrible car accident which put him in critical condition.  His car was totaled, he was hospitalized in a coma, and had to get heart surgery.

While the hospital bills continue to increase, he is indefinitely out of work, suspending the income to pay even his normal bills, in addition to helping support his two young grandchildren.  At the moment, it is unknown what short-term or long-term damage there is, but it is assumed there will be a lot of after-care expenses as well.

Ever since I was a kid, he has been my hero, and I still tell him that in my late 20's.  As a beloved father, grandfather, husband, coach, and friend, he has always been the one to take care of and look out for others, holding it together for people to be the strength and rock for his loved ones without ever being asked.  Anyone who has ever met my dad has experienced the loving energy and positivity he brings into any and every situation, always brightening everyone’s moods and being the one to offer a helping hand.  If you haven’t met him but you have met me or my siblings, then you have experienced his loving energy through us.  I can attribute so many positivities within myself to my dad, I am so grateful that he has been such an example of what it means to be a good person, to live a life of joy, and to bring happiness to others.
As a tennis coach, his students and colleagues have described him as one of the most supportive, compassionate, and thoughtful people they've ever had the pleasure of meeting while being a pillar of integrity in their tennis community.  He has taught countless kids within his career spanning over 30 years.

There is so much overwhelming stress on my family already before bills even come into question, so any dollar helps tremendously. The fundraising goal is an estimation based on examples of similar situations and will be updated as his condition progresses, and more information comes to light.

Thank you,
Paige, Amanda, and Blake Emery
