Help with Dale’s road to recovery

My name is Alexandra Plathe, my husband Matt has been close friends with Dale for many years now. On behalf of Drew and Dales families, we are raising funds to get them through one of their biggest hurdles yet.

On Thursday September 1st Dale was admitted to hospital, initially with kidney stones. However, on Friday morning Dale went into cardiac arrest while still in hospital.

He was transferred to Bendigo on Friday where he has been in and out of a medically induced coma. There has been many attempts to wake Dale, with most of them not being affective resulting in him being put back into his coma. He is beginning to open his eyes but not able to follow commands. Dale is physically strong however this whole thing is a big waiting game for Drew and Dale’s families. Which you can imagine is very difficult for all.

Drew and Dales families need our support during this difficult time. We are asking for anything you can donate, big or small, to cover the day to day costs of Dale being in hospital, Drew and Dales families not working. Things like phone bills, petrol, food, parking and everything in-between, still need to be paid for.
