Laying Darin Suggs to Rest

It is with a heavy heart that we ask for assistance with laying Darin Suggs, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and fierce friend, to rest. On November 23, 2024, Darin suffered from a sudden cardiac arrest, depriving his brain of vital oxygen for 14 minutes. His entire family, including wife Tracy, daughter Ashley and 11yr old grandson Kaiden, held on to hope that “Big “D” would wake up from this tragic event. Despite the amazing efforts of emergency response and the staff of the Capital Health Regional Trauma Center, the loss of oxygen resulted in an irreversible anoxic brain injury, from which Darin could not recover. Tragically, after an 11 day battle, at only 55yrs old, Darin lost the fight for his life on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.

As this was a completely unforeseen tragedy, the family is in shock, and unsure of what lies ahead in learning how live their daily lives without Darin. The financial hardship of this heartbreaking circumstance is now of great concern to his immediate family, therefore, on their behalf, and with their full consent, we ask for any possible assistance in providing Darin with a proper burial, as there is no insurance coverage to help alleviate the costs.
