HONORING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE
On January 24th my brother Chris lost his beautiful wife Shana, the love of his life, to ovarian cancer.  She was only 53 years old. They were married for 26 years and have two amazing kids, Téa and Dean. She embodied positivity and gentleness, but was a fierce lioness protector when someone she cared for needed help or was wronged. She was a warrior who fought with courage, strength and grace for every extra minute to be here for her family until she finally joined the Angels. Words can’t even begin to express how deeply my heart is breaking for my brother, his kids, and all of our joined families.

FINANCIAL HELP.  Having lost my own husband to cancer almost 9 years ago I know the grief and struggles that follow as you try to rebuild your life. Chris is now the sole income earner, and like so many of us, was already experiencing income loss due to COVID-19. There is an additional burden of approximately $40,000 in medical bills. Please help lessen some of the hardships for my brother and his family by donating whatever you can (every bit helps) to help him rebuild his life in the next few months.

A QUICK SHANA STORY. On a recent call with Chris, he told me that Shana had commented that he was cussing a lot and that she thought it just brought negative energy to a person. He said he has worked hard since then to limit those words in his speech. My own constant use of the F bomb is what prompted him to share that story with me and I’ve since become acutely aware of how much I swear.  In honor of Shana and reducing negativity in the world I’ve vowed to cut those words out, except where they are 100% warranted. I love you sissy and FUCK CANCER.

Please share your story about Shana.
