Help with expenses for preemie ❤ baby Olivia
Donation protected
My granddaughter, Mary and her boyfriend, David, are going through a very challenging time due to the premature birth of their baby girl. Mary had to be taken in to an emergency C Section at only 29 weeks pregnant due to the baby's heart rate dropping and to give her a chance at survival. She delivered tiny baby girl on November 9th at 9:30 p.m., 11 weeks early. The baby named Olivia, weighed only 3 lbs and 6 ounces. On the second day, the baby started having stomach issues and had to be transferred to Advent Hospital in Orlando, in the NICU. Since then, she is doing okay and is receiving breast milk through a feeding tube. She will remain in the hospital where she will be closely monitored and can gain enough weight to come home, where we all want her.
Mary and David live an hour and a half from the hospital in Orlando, make the drive every day, and with the price of gas, it costs about $110 a week. Mary cannot work at this time and has to go home to be with her little boy, Landon, who is also patiently waiting to meet his baby sister.
As with most young families today, they are struggling. Donations will help them greatly with living expenses, food, transportation, and surmounting medical bills during this trying and stressful time. If you can give, any amount will help. Thank you ahead for your support.
