Help With Funeral Expense For Father

Donation protected
Hello I’m Anne, I’m a daughter of a Loving father Romeo Dela Cruz Garcia. My father was diagnosed of CKD Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3) in October 2017. It has been hard for us knowing that he will have a limited time to live because at the time, the doctor told my mother that he will just have 1 more year to live on this earth. We couldn’t believe what we heard and we cried.
My father cried and felt devastated. But the only thing that we could do is to have faith in God to pray and to keep providing medicine for my father that cost alot of money. We consulted a second doctor to know what’s best and so we can cure my father. The second doctor offered the same advice as the first doctor, which was to give him oral medications that also come with some injection. But still my mother looked for alternative medicine that she found from the third doctor . My father then started taking alternative medicines with a strict diet, no salt, no meat and if he does eat a piece of meat, then only 1/4 of his palm. Also, more green vegetables and fruits . As the days went by, we kept on helping each other so papa can live longer.

Sometimes he will go to his garden to maintain and clean it, but when he felt so tired he would get sick easily. There’s times my mother would bring him to the hospital because his creatinine goes up and sometimes his legs were swollen. But God is always good, we’re still grateful for my father’s life. So fast forward to 2020 when COVID-19 came and we were really cautious about my fathers condition, there was a time that he was sick with a cough and cold, but thank God he was fine . Then in 2021 the 10th of August, my family called me since our Papa couldn’t breathe, they were all panicking and I instructed them to do first aid. They eventually called an ambulance and brought him to the hospital. My sister was with him because my mother was not well and my little brother had influenza. At the hospital, they tested my father for covid and he tested positive, while my sister was negative. They also tested my sisters in the house and they’re all negative. My fathers creatinine went up and his hemoglobin went down, so the doctor told us that he needs to have a blood transfusion ASAP. We did our very best to save my fathers life knowing that the hospital bills were costly, but it’s my father life at stake.
We also asked for help through our family’s friends and relatives. My husband and I also pulled out slmoney from our savings to help my father. Even though he has health insurance, it did not cover everything. After 6 days of being admitted in the hospital, he survived from the COVID-19 infection. However, we needed to hire a nurse for him, so that he wouldn’t be exposed in the hospital because of the patients there who were positive in Covid 19. Also, for him to continue his medicine that needed to be injected by the nurse .

My father survived and overcame it the Covid incident. He celebrated his birthday Nov2, 2021, he was really happy another year to celebrate of being grateful that God gave him more life to live .
He celebrated Christmas and New Year with so much happiness. But that was the last celebration of his life with us.
On January 6, 2022 an important date of their lives, because that’s my mother and fathers 37th Wedding Anniversary.
January 12, 2022, those in the household we’re not feeling well and then my father is sick too, he had swollen feet and trouble breathing so they Nebulize him but he still was not well . January 14 & 15, 2022 my mother noticed that he just want to sleep and he keeps asking about the time, and he said that he didn’t eat yet although he just ate an hour ago . He was saying a lot of things, appeared to be saying out loud “my children I love my children and my wife please be patient to me”. My mother said “I will always here for you no matter what happens”.
My mother and sister decided that they need to bring my father to the hospital. The next day it was 4pm on January 16, 2022, my mother cleaned him and changed his clothes, then suddenly when he’s walking and my brother is assisting him, he sat down on his chair by the Patio which is one of his favorite spots in the house. But then when he sat down there his eyes are closed and my siblings and mother were waking him up l, but my father had already passed away, they tried to do a CPR on him but it still didn’t work. My Loving father is gone now. Somehow we’re still grateful that God gave him 5 more years to live and we considered it a miracle.

My father passed away January 16,2022 @ 5:30pm
We’re asking for a little help any amount will help .
Any amount will be appreciated.
Thank you so much.
