Help with growing care costs for mum

Hi, I'm Phil, and this is my mum Val. Mum has dementia and is in a care home in Eastbourne where she is very well looked after. We are currently trying to sell her house to meet mounting care costs and debts.

Unfortunately, a burst pipe at mum's house has caused a huge amount of damage that now needs to be repaired before we can sell. The house needs a new damp course, rewiring, carpets replaced anu a new kitchen. The cost of mum's care continues to mount up, as does the equity owed on the house. So far we owe around £85000 when the house sells

We are struggling to pay the £25000 for the repairs, and mum's monthly care bill of £5400, but if we can get the house fixed up and sold at least then we can pay off mum's debts, and have some money for her future care.

So anything you can donate to help us fix up mum's little house and secure a safe and cared for future would make an enormous difference to her and to us.
