Help with Healing and Financial Relief

Hey everyone! I appreciate you taking your time to stop by and take a look at my story.

On September 5th, I was getting ready for work like I normally do, and before I left for work, I would do some pull-ups on an at-home iron gym pull-up bar. I pulled up to do a pull-up, and the bar came off the door frame. I fell backward and slammed the back of my head on the floor.

Immediately, I felt a pain I had never felt before and could barely move. I had a loud banging in my right ear. My girlfriend, Sasha, rushed me to the hospital around the corner at JFK Medical Center, where I had multiple CT scans and X-rays done, among other things. It turned out I fractured part of my skull and had a bleed causing some pressure. From there, they took me by ambulance to Delray Medical Center because, from what I understood, this was a trauma hospital that specializes in this type of injury.

Once I arrived, I had several seizures, and they didn't know how serious the damage was yet. Luckily, I did stabilize, and the bleeding stopped, and the pressure started to reduce on my head. I was in the ICU for 2 days and in a normal hospital room for 1 day before I was sent home.

After that, I had many follow-ups for CT scans. I had to go see an ENT because the injury made me deaf in my right ear, and from what they told me, it caused nerve damage. They do not know if I will recover my hearing or not. I had to go see a primary doctor and am setting up to go see a neurologist about any long-term damage, as well as other follow-ups with the ENT.

Currently, I'm on anti-seizure medicine and was taking oral steroids to help with the head inflammation and hopefully help the hearing return.

During this time, I couldn't go back to work and missed 16 days of work due to dizziness from my concussion and loss of hearing causing issues with my equilibrium.

I'm back at work now, but I'm currently only able to do light duty till my balance comes back. We still don't know if I'll ever be able to climb ladders and do things off the ground again. I have been an electrician my whole life, and this is pretty much all I know.

My goal number is based on what my health insurance did not cover and the loss of money I missed from not being able to work. I'm happy and lucky to be alive, but the loss of hearing in my right ear and the stress I'm dealing with now financially is really hurting.

I ask for any help I can get, and I'd be blessed to get anything. Thank you so much for your time.
