Help for the McCoys - Funeral & Living Expenses

As I write this, I am searching for the words that could even slightly speak to the heartache and sadness that has been felt since the passing of our dear friend, Hollie McCoy. My name is Marisela Flores and I am starting this fundraiser to help support the family with funeral expenses and to soften the blow of living expenses for his wife. Everyone that knew Hollie knows that he was an incredible man to every single person around him. Hollie grew up in Rio Linda, CA and will forever leave his legacy on those he left behind; including his beautiful wife, kids, and grandkids.

 

Hollie was one of the hardest working men I knew, and always strived to provide for his family. His greatest joy was ensuring his family was taken care of, and now we are faced with something that no one expected. Hollie passed away on Sunday, January 2nd after a work-related incident, leaving his family in shock and disbelief. He and the love of his life, Gina McCoy, were together for over 33 years and are STILL so in love. Together they built the most beautiful family that is now struggling to heal from this tragic loss.

 

Hollie was a hard-working, devoted family man who had the kindest soul. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, uncle, friend, but most importantly he was Papa to his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He loved anyone who walked in his home unconditionally and we are truly blessed to have his memories in our hearts. His legacy will live on through his entire family and community. We seek your help as Hollie was the sole provider for his household. Any donation you can make to help his wife pay for funeral and living expenses will be greatly appreciated.
