Help With Home Care for Virginia and Luna

Hi my name is Alix and I am starting this fundraiser for my friends Virginia and Anthony and their beautiful 2 month old baby Luna. I would like to raise money to contribute to home nusing care help to give their family the support they need while they recover and to help with medical bills.

Shortly after welcoming Luna into the world, Virginia began experiencing back pain. She has had back surgery in the past so she was concerned about a recurring disc herniation. She is a strong and determined woman and wasted no time scheduling appointments to hopefully get on top of the issue before it became a problem. She was diagnosed with another disc herniation and requested surgery in hopes to have the shortest recovery time so she could be in her best shape for Luna.

However, after over a month of ineffective non invasive treatments and bed rest the doctors were still not convinced Virginia needed surgery despite her pain getting worse and a new developing numbness in her legs so she was scheduled for injections later this month. This past week she had to call 911 because the pain was so intense and yesterday she was admitted for emergency spinal surgery when the pain increased and she lost all feeling from the waist down.

While Virginia has been on bed rest, Anthony has had to stop working to do the things around the house and for Luna that Virginia is not physically able to. This has left them both stretched thin.

As if that weren't enough on a the plate of new parents, last night sweet Luna had a fall accident that left her with a broken femur. She is currently being transferred for surgery while Virginia is still in the hospital recovering from hers.

Virginia and Anthony are amazing people and parents and any amount you can contribute would be welcome.
