Help with honoring Joseph Vincent Amaya’s Memorial

Donation protected
On Thursday September 26, 2024 husband, father and grandfather Joseph Vincent Amaya left his family behind and entered eternal ever lasting life in heaven. My father was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer on August 1st and was given no options for treatment plans.

My dad was a good Godly man, that was the leader of our house hold and did everything right for his family while always putting himself last and us first. My dad was well respected and well liked in the Northwest Downey Little League baseball community, among family and friends. My dad has always given myself and brothers the best childhood any kid could ask for. My dad would work multiple jobs while attending college and obtaining a degree to better himself for his family and be able to give his family a better life than he had. My dad was my best friend, hero, and someone I looked up to as a kid and into my adult years of life. My dad would always give me advice on life situations when I didn’t think I needed it but he always steered me in the right direction. He would help me when life was just keeping me down and was always my light in my darkest times. My dad was always a positive person and someone who made an impact on anyone that came into his life. His laugh was contagious, his smile was unforgettable, his love for his family is irreplaceable. He loved to go camping, riding bikes and playing craps at the casinos, bbqing, fishing, working on his travel trailer, watching his Chicago Bears on Sunday’s and spending quality time with his kids and his wife. He loved his children and grandchildren and more importantly he loved his wife with all his heart. My dad was the light of our family and made everyday and holiday’s special for the love he had for Christmas and the excitement he had for opening gifts. Our family will never be the same without my dad and we can’t imagine our lives without him but we are trying to navigate through this grieving process.

Since this tragedy happened so quickly and unexpectedly we were not prepared for the added financial burden and humbly ask for any support at this time for my father's memorial and burial services. If you’re not able to donate a prayer or share would be immensely appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you dad always and forever!
