Help with Islamic Education in Gambia

Markaz imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul wahab is a school based in Nema kunku, West coast region, serekunda. The Gambia. West Africa.

The school was founded by Ahmad Muhammad Suwareh (Currently studying in Madinah university) and is currently managed by Ustadh Muhammad Bah alongside his team of 6 volunteers teachers.

This not-for-profit institute was set up to facilitate Hifz (Memorisation of the Holy Quran), Tajweed, Islamic Studies as well as Tarbeya (Character Development) for the local young people. They currently have 165 students on roll, some of which study for a portion of the day, whilst others board overnight.

They are seeking financial support of around £1500GBP to assist with acquiring books and learning resources as well as to help with building improvement to class and and bedrooms for those boarding.
