Help with Jack's Hospital & Home Hospice Bills

Hello!

As many of you know, this sweet little guy is Jack. Jack has been with my family for the majority of his life and now lives with Trevor and I here in LA. He's been living it up in what we have called his "Hollywood Retirement Home" and making the most out of his Cali life. Unfortunately, starting last month we started to see some serious health issues come up with Jack. After some scary emergency vet visits Jack was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. We got him on the proper meds and quickly saw some improvements.

But over the last week and a half Jack has seen a sudden decline. Jack was hospitalized earlier this week because he had elevated levels in his kidneys and there was a chance he either had a kidney infection or was in the process of kidney failure. So, we got him to the hospital and got him hooked up on IV treatment to hopefully figure out what was happening. His kidney levels started to improve but unfortunately during Jack's time in the hospital a new issue has arisen.

Jack is now showing serious signs of neurological decline. His ability to move, eat and support himself has drastically fallen and it looks like it will most likely only become more extreme. With that being said, we are now stopping his kidney treatment besides fluids and taking him home so that he can rest with us until it is time for him to go.

At this point, we have done everything we can for Jack and we wouldn't take back a single thing. But making these choices to try and make Jack better has come at a large financial cost. At the urging of some of our friends we have made the choice to create this GoFundMe. This is not something we ever planned to do, but if our friends and family feel the call to help Jack and help make him more comfortable on his way out we wanted to give an avenue. We understand that times are tough (both of us are currently unemployed) so please do not feel like you have to give.
