Help with Justina's medical expenses and recovery

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Lisa Wallace, I am the mother of Justina Wallace. Justina was born with Turner Syndrome, a chromosomal disorder in which a female is born with one X chromosome. Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured. Turner Syndrome causes short stature, infertility, heart defects, and certain learning disabilities. Justina was treated with HGH and estrogen therapy at a young age in order to grow taller and prompt her body into beginning puberty. In May 2010, Justina was diagnosed with an inoperable benign brain tumor. She underwent Gamma Knife surgery (radiation) at Westchester Medical Center to stop the tumor from growing. Due to the position of the tumor in her brain, it could not be removed surgically or she could go blind, lose the use of her motor functions, or even die. Since the surgery in 2010, the neurologists have been able to keep her pain under control with daily medications. She had also been monitored for any potential growth of the tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor has begun to grow again. She wakes up in the morning with right-sided blindness, severe pain, and her right ear throbs continuously. Her neuro-surgeon has decided that the best course of treatment is for him to attempt to remove as much of the tumor as possible, and then repeat the Gamma Knife surgery in a year to kill whatever part of the tumor remains.
Through all this, Justina has continued to work the best she can and is also attempting to obtain a degree in Criminal Justice. Her surgery is scheduled for June 12th, 2023 at Stamford Hospital, CT. She will need at least three months recovery time, possibly more. Justina does not have enough time on the books at her job to get paid for these this time off. While her father and I will always provide a home for her and anything else she requires, she will need help paying for medical bills and her own personal bills. She will also need follow-up care and due to the distance of the hospital from our home, overnight stays in a hotel will be necessary.
I am asking you to please donate to this go-fund-me for Justina so that she may rest and recover without having to worry about excessive bills racking up and having no way to pay them. Prayers and good thoughts are also appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and may God bless our family during this difficult time.

Update: 5/18/2023: Last week we met with the second surgeon who will be operating on Justina, Dr. Peter Costantino, a nationally and internationally recognized Craniofacial and Cranial Base Tumor Surgeon. He explained to us in detail exactly what Justina is facing. The surgeons are going to slice her head from the bottom of one ear across the top of her skull to the other side. That piece of skin will be pulled back exposing her skull which will be cut open to gain access to her brain. While the one surgeon is attempting to remove the tumor, the other surgeon will be keeping an eye on everything else, making sure none of the cranial nerves are being injured. Once completed, they will close her skull by first making an incision in her abdomen and removing some fat. That fat will then be placed against her brain to hold the spinal fluid in and to prevent it from leaking out. Using Titanium, they will close her skull bones and close the skin together by stitching it up. This whole procedure will take all day, 10 or more hours. She will then be transferred to ICU where she will be observed closely before going to a private room. Justina will have to be in the hospital for at least seven days, and then, God willing, be discharged to home where she will spend the next 3-6 months recovering.
I tell you all this so you can understand what she will be going through and how much support she will require. I want to thank everyone who has so generously contributed to this go-fund-me, and ask for your continued donations and prayers for a successful surgery and recovery for my daughter so that she may go on to lead a full, pain-free life. May God continue to bless our family during this most difficult time. Thank you.
