Help with Kayli's Recovery
Donation protected
My beautiful sister Kayli Householder was in a bad rollover on Thursday, December 16, 2021, the day after her graduation from BYU-Idaho. She was blown off the road by wind from a trailer on the south side of the Malad Pass in Idaho. Her car slid sideways in the median, bounced, and flipped through the air several times.
Thankfully, she was wearing her seatbelt and was not ejected from the car. When we got to her, she was cracking jokes, not realizing the gravity of her situation nor the extent of her injuries. Her buoyancy helped us all calm down, so the EMT crew could do what they needed to do.
Since she had just graduated, her car was loaded with everything she owned as she moved away from Rexburg.
Because of her high-deductible health insurance, her 2021 medical expenses are expected to top off at $6,500. Our goal is to help cover the medical expenses, replace her favorite sweater which was cut off by the EMTs, collect some funds to help replace her car (hopefully with one that is safer and can handle wind and snow better), and replace some belongings that were destroyed in the accident.
Thank you so much for considering helping us help Kayli. She is an angel and we're grateful to everyone who has expressed a desire to help.
We also want to give a shout out to the EMT team and Sheriff who helped at the scene and with moving her to the Malad and Pocatello hospitals for their excellent care, and to the Arizona medical team who are now helping with her recovery.
