Help with Kiwi’s medical bills

If anyone knows Krista they know the love she had for her pet kiwi. Kiwi and Krista were attached at the hip and arguably soulmates. Unfortunately after several months of misdiagnosis for her cough, Kiwi ended up in the vet ICU on may 5 when she was having difficulty breathing and her gums/tongue were turning blue. Upon admittance Kiwi needed to be on 24/7 oxygen, due to a damaged trachea, bronchitis and fluid in her lungs. Krista spent her birthday going to visit kiwi in the icu. They were finally able to release her on may 7th with her lungs working at only 20% and taking 5 medications daily. Just one day later kiwi was suffering from labored breathing/committing and was brought in again. After a couple more days in the icu Kiwi could no longer breathe on her own without oxygen. Krista and the vet made the decision that kiwi would need to be put down.

 

After months of vets bills, medications and 4 days in the vet icu, you can imagine the lengthy vet bills that have accumulated. Krista currently cannot work due to several medical issues of her own and is unable to afford the costly vet bills. Anything is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward paying vet bills. Copies of some of the bills is below in the photos.
