Help with Krysty's medical bills

Krysty (10) is your typical friendly and very active kid. She swims, plays chess, loves fidgets and crafts, enjoys chatting with friends and playing in the snow. In September 2021, she was diagnosed with bone cancer osteosarcoma.

Through December, Krysty went through eight chemotherapy treatments and several blood transfusions. In January 2022, she had surgery to remove and replace her femur bone and part of her knee with a titanium expandable prosthesis. Her healing and recovery will include physical therapy, more chemo and immunotherapy treatments.

Inspite of this challenging and painful journey, Krysty and her family remained strong - thanks to the support from their community. They are grateful for the excellent care from the doctors and healthcare staff at the University of Iowa's Stead Family Children's Hospital.
