Help Kyndal Fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
My sister Raquel and her 5-year-old daughter Kyndal came to visit my family for Spring Break on Friday, March 12th. When they arrived, Kyndal appeared to be very lethargic and tired but we thought it was from a long day of traveling. The next morning Kyndal would not eat, walk, or get up to play with her two cousins, which was very unusual. We decided to take her to the Texas Children’s Hospital where they performed a CT scan. The scan showed that Kyndal had a tumor in the back of her brain. The following day Kyndal endured brain surgery for 6 hours. By the grace of God, the neurosurgeon and his team were able to remove the large (3 CM) tumor from her brain. A few smaller tumors will need chemo and or radiation. We are not sure what the treatment looks like but we do know that this is going to be a long road to recovery.
Kyndal is an energetic and vibrant girl who loves to play dress up and play with her cousins. She is smart, athletic, and makes everyone around her light up.
During this devastating situation, Kyndal and Raquel have shown nothing but strength and positivity while trusting in the Lord. We put this fund together for anyone who wants to help with their financial burden, all funds will go directly to medical costs, unexpected expenses, and future treatment.
On behalf of Raquel and Kyndal and the entire Gottfried Family, we appreciate the amount of outpouring love and prayers you have all graciously shown us. God bless you all.
