HELP WITH LIFE-SAVING OPERATION COST

Hi, my name is Andre Lefebvre, I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada.

On March 9th my dear Palestinian friend and brother Ramy A Banna suffered from a massive heart attack and needed to have a coronary artery bypass graft, which was thankfully successful. I believe he almost died of a broken heart.

He wrote me: "All the reasons that led to my heart’s destruction came together (exile, poverty in exile, my missing brother, the situation of my family in Gaza, my sister who lost her children and lives in a tent now)."

PLEASE HELP

I am appealing for help on Ramy's behalf in order to cover the hospital cost for the operation and the hospital stay. The hospital requests the cost of 46,000 Turkish liras, which is about $2000 CAD or $1,400 US dollars.

I am collecting the funds for Ramy due to international complications and they will be sent to him when we reach the target so he can pay the BAKIRKOY DR.SADİ KONUK EDUCATION AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL, with our gratitude.

Ramy is now living in Turkey, but helplessly separated from his family and that of his wife, who are still under constant attacks in Gaza, having lost homes and family members. They are unable to free them from it all, including this latest year's bombing campaign.

Since leaving Gaza, Ramy has been trying to start a new life in Turkey, earn a living as well as raising awareness about his people's fate, and raising funds to feed other families and children in Gaza.
