Help with Lindsey’s fight against Cancer

Lindsey is a 28 yr old mother of three young children ages 3, 2, 6 months. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer and will begin chemotherapy this week. She has been a stay at home mother over the last 3 1/2 years. Lindsey’s significant other, Gian Rufa who is a 4th grade teacher at Morristown Central School has been the soul provider since their oldest child was born. Due to the circumstances he will be taking a significant amount of time off of work to help care for Lindsey and the children so she can fight this battle. Lindsey’s care will be from various locations both in and out of state. Due to this their medical bills and travel bills will start to add up and become a large burden. Lindsey is a beautiful, intelligent, happy women who lights up any room she enters. This diagnosis comes very shocking and heartbreaking for her and her family. Any amount will help this beautiful women so she can win this battle.

In the words of Lindsey: I can’t believe I’m writing these words about myself but here we go… I have cancer. Stage 4 colorectal cancer. When I heard those words I spent days googling my prognosis and crying at the numbers I saw. But then I decided I don’t fit the mold of those statistics. I’m young. I’m 28. I’m otherwise healthy. I’m strong. And I will fight this. I have three beautiful babies that are too young to lose their mom. I have the best family and friends supporting me and rooting for me, there are too many to name but you know who you are While I’m expected to crumble from this sick twist of fate, I have never felt more brave. That being said… #fuckcancer
