Help With Lynn's Medical Fund

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Rob and I'm dedicating this page to my resilient wife, Lynn. She was born in Golden Valley, MN, back in 1969. Lynn and I first met back in summer '92 and my love for this special woman has never dropped an ounce. Together we have had and raised 2 boys, now aged 29 and 27. At the end of April 2022, our family was put through one of the single most tragic and life-threatening events of our lives. April 30th will always remain the day Lynn survived a massive-ruptured brain aneurysm. On that day, I left for work at 9:30 am, only to come home to a dark-lit house at 9:30 pm. That's where I discovered the love of my life on the floor, non-responsive. She was rushed to Southdale Fairview Hospital where she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, and then quickly taken to the U of M Medical Center. After consecutive days of no sleep and constant phone calls, doctors at the U of M Medical Center Neurology Clinic performed life-saving endovascular coiling to repair the rupture and prevent any future incidents. Because of the high pressure in her head, Lynn suffered from multiple mini-strokes which impacted her speech, mobility and memory. She had a 50/50 chance of survival, to which she prevailed. The recovery process was slow at the start, but after we noticed high pressure within her head, the doctors knew that a shunt was needed to be installed to help regulate the spinal fluid that is being built up within her brain. In the middle of August 2022, she contracted Covid19, which impacted her breathing, eating and overall wellness for the following weeks to a month. In the second week of September 2022, Lynn was transferred to a rehab care facility to help rehabilitate her strength, both mentally and physically. She pretty much had to relearn how to walk and talk all over again, which she is still relearning to this day. Every day after work, I would drive down to Minneapolis, then later to St. Paul to visit my honey. During this healing process, I kept a journal that I updated daily noting my wife's growth and development, no matter how trivial the progress would seem. After 9 grueling months of rehab and worry, Lynn was finally cleared for release. This is where this Go Fund Me page comes into play. The total cost for Lynn's entire hospital bill was in the 7 digits. Thankfully, our insurance helped with a great chunk of it, but unfortunately, not all of it. The amount of money we are looking for is the total amount billed for a 2-week hospital stay when she had covid. Any donation will be greatly appreciated to help pay off the remainder of our bill. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading our story.
