To everyone mark passed away today September 22 at 10:47 am the fund will now be used to help with the funeral service cost as we still owe the funeral home funds and to help the family get though this timethank you all for the support Mark Robinson is a father of four and a grandfather of 9 Lives by his wife Cheryl. If you know him, you know that he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He's one of the kindest you would ever know. He has always worked multiple jobs and taken care of his family and others. He has a really good soul if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, in the past he developed a serious heart disease that changed his way of life. About 15 years ago Mark had a serious heart attack which initially hospitalized him for days that ended with surgery. At that time he developed a clogged artery which then lead to surgery. A stent was put into that artery during that time. Since that terrible episode he has been at a constant battle with his heart and its underlining issues. He's had close to fatal heart attacks since then, finally ending with a defibrillator, and eventually double bypass open heart surgery. In 2017. As his life continues, he's now back in the hospital struggling to find a way to live. He's been there for over 2 months not able to have his family come visit him due to the covid-19 pandemic which has saddened Mark a great deal. To make things worse, more bad news has evolved. His heart is very weak and he is very sick he is on 2 iv drips to help his heart pump. Its time for a heart pump doctors say. He now is awaiting surgery to have a heart pump placed in his heart. But at this point the surgery is on hold he is to weak to have the surgery His body has been taking on fluid that it can't get rid of because the heart is not pumping enough and now he's dealing of kidney failure . Northside Hospital could not do anymore to help him so he has been transported to Emory saint Joseph's in Atlanta for the heart pump surgery. To make things even worse, the Covid-19 pandemic caused Cheryl, his wife, to be laid off from her job back in April. This not only caused her to lose her income, but also his secondary health insurance. Mark's is on Medicare, although they will only cover about 80% of the of his medical Cheryl is left with the medical Bill's they want her to start making payments on the remaining of Mark's medical bills, On top of paying everyday household bills that continue to flow in. The unemployment and the additional Covid-19 supplemental unemployment aid has kept her a float up until the aid was dropped last month. Now, Cheryl is barely able to cover the bills and rent. So the extra medical bills will do extra damage. At this point, if you could find it in your heart to help Mark , he would surly do the same as he has in the past to help others in need. Thank you!
~Marks donations will go to medical bills, after care and copays and equipment. Additionally helping out with household bills including utilities, rent and ect if needed.
