Help with medical bills and treatment - Urgent

Hello everyone,

My name is Shannon, and over this past year, I have had quite the time dealing with health problems. This includes COVID, omicron, plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, depression, anxiety, rapid weight loss, and now, problems with my liver, gall bladder and kidneys. My most recent appointment was for an ultrasound-guided paracentesis, which resulted in the docs removing 5.5 LITERS of fluid from my abdominal region. I weigh 104 lbs after removing some of the liquid but wow, what world of difference it's made. It's no wonder walking had become difficult, going up and down the stairs. My equilibrium was off, and it was basically like carrying around an 11-pound baby.

I was hoping someone might read this who has been there or experienced a friend or family member going through similar troubles with health and making ends meet money-wise. I am unfit for work right now and trying to get on disability, but it has undoubtedly been difficult for me to jump through all the hoops. I am a chef, so I'm constantly on my feet...but I can barely lift anything; half the time, I cannot even lift the weight of my own body without assistance. I have been out of work for two years and no longer collect unemployment.

It would truly mean the world to me if anyone reads this and donates even 50 cents! Anything helps at this point. Also, I am relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida, to further my treatment, so any funding left may be put towards moving costs.

It can be so hard to reach out and ask for help, but I truly hope to get this under control and spread the love and gratitude - to pay it forward.
