Help with medical bills for Bruce and Yvonne Lacey

My brother Eric and I are raising funds to help with the medical bills for our Mom. Our parents Bruce and Yvonne Lacey have been missionaries to Mexico for more than 30 years. They have touched countless lives and are devoted to helping people in need.

Yvonne starting getting sick in December 2023 and saying that she could not swallow. She has been in and out of the hospital 6 times since the first of December. She was extremely sick and could not eat. She has lost 40 pounds during her illness.

Nine days ago, they brought her to a bigger hospital in Phoenix AZ. After tests and more tests, they discovered the vertebrae in her neck has disintegrated and is pushing into her esophagus making it so she can not swallow. They are doing surgery to strengthen and support her vertebrae allowing her to swallow food again. She will be in ICU for a day or two, then a regular room for a week and then finally a few weeks at a rehabilitation facility.

We are asking for funds to help cover their medical bills and to help with duable medical supplies she will need when she finally gets to go home.
