Help with Melanie Marie Lopez funeral expenses.

On February 17, heaven gained another beautiful Angel. Our beloved Melanie lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 4. She was a warrior until the end, fighting with everything she had.

In December of 2021, Melanie was diagnosed with Berkins Lymphoma and had been in and out of Children’s hospital in Denver since then. Her mother, Esmeralda, stood by her side through several operations and chemo therapy.

Throughout her battle, Melanie remained the happy little princess that she always was. She loved to dance and sing and never missed an opportunity to make people smile. Those who knew her can attest to her kind and happy spirit. Melanie was a smart little girl who enjoyed nursery rhymes, Five Little Monkeys was one of her favorites. She loved playing with her little sister and spending time with her mommy.

After months of living in and out of the hospital, Melanie was eager to go home and spend time with her extended family. Melanie passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by those she loved. She will be truly missed especially by her mother Esmeralda, and little sister.

Esmeralda is a single mom, her children are her everything. While remaining by her daughters side, as a mother should, Esmeralda has been unable to provide for her family throughout Melanie’s battle with cancer.
