Michael Lotero 37-year-old single father of 3 girls.

He tested positive for COVID on December 27, 2021. He was placed on a ventilator on January 5, 2022. He went into surgery on January 31, 2022 to have a tracheostomy and peg tube placement. Michaels mother, Theresa drove from California to Olathe Kannas to help care for her granddaughters and support her son while on life support. Theresa spends endless days and nights sitting at his bedside praying, trusting in God's healing. In addition to adjusting to this tragedy, there are faced with copays, meeting deductibles and long-term acute hospital care. At this time, the family is trying to focus on Michael; however, finding it very difficult with all the financial hardship COVID and loss of income is causing daily.
