Help with monthly bills and medical expenses neede

Hi, my name is Jami and I am fundraising for my sister, Angela Heiliger, who was horrifically assaulted on September 9, 2022.

While sleeping in her apartment that Friday night, someone gained access to her bedroom and poured acid on her face and neck. She lay in her apartment for two days before she was able to get help. She is currently in protective custody under an alias in a Houston medical facility as law enforcement has yet to make an arrest in her case.

Angela, a single mother of two grown children, had recently moved back to the Houston area to be closer to her kids and had found a job that she absolutely loves. Thankfully, her employer and co-workers are standing by her. She hopes to be able to return to work before her employer is forced to fill her position.

Angela has undergone three surgeries since the attack two weeks ago and must remain under full-time medical care for at least three more weeks until her next scheduled surgery. At this point, we have no idea what her medical bills will cost when all said and done.

I am reaching out on my sister's behalf in hope of raising funds for her monthly expenses (rent, utilities, etc) while she is unable to work. Any assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
