Help With Moving Back To Spokane

For those who don’t know me my name is John Lemus.

Earlier this year I moved to Olympia with my fiancé and after a safety incident I had to send them home.

I’m in a position where my health both physical and mental health hasn’t been that great and I need to move back to Spokane to be closer to friends and family.

I have worked as a strong solider for the Spokane Non Profit sector since 2005 many of those years were as a full time volunteer or at hours that were not enough to sustain savings.. I’ve been incredibly involved social justice and political work in Spokane for many years.

those of us with developmental disabilities don’t have a lot of resources because of resource limits that keep us tied to poverty when we are not working

I am a very proud hard working person. I work full time in a manager role but between rent and bills don’t make enough to cover an emergent move.

I hate asking for help. from working in the field I know there are so many others who need support but no matter how much I put numbers Into a spreadsheet it just doesn’t work.

my friends have helped me understand that it is ok to ask for help. Before my move from Spokane I supported many go fund me efforts and once I’m back on my feet will continue to do so.

I have explored all other options from asking my credit Union for a line increase and asking my employer for relocation assistance both were unsuccessful.

I have 1000 of my own funds to put towards this effort. If I was able to drive this process would be so much less expensive than it is right now.

I’m told I should itemize what I need support with.

3. Deposit for new place in Spokane 450
