Help with my recovery from motorcycle accident

My name is Ralish and I am a grad student at University of Texas at Dallas. I moved here from India in January of 2021 to study business analytics.

On November 15 I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident near campus. I broke my femur and shattered my pelvis in the collision. I was rushed to the hospital and over the next 7 days I had several surgeries to fix my leg and my pelvis and stop some internal bleeding I was experiencing. Just as I was about to be discharged from the hospital they discovered some more internal bleeding and had to perform a colostomy which will require me to wear a colostomy bag for the next 6 months.

On December 4 I moved into a rehab center so that they could continue to monitor my healing and begin physical therapy. I have a long road of recovery in front of me.

I have no other family in Dallas. I only have one other family member in the U.S. and he is in Chicago. Several friends have been doing everything they can to care for me while I was in the hospital and while I am in the rehab center. But by the end of December I will have to leave the rehab center and begin living on my own.

I have medical insurance through UTD but I will still have several out-of-pocket expenses to cover all my surgeries and medicines and hospital stay. In addition to those medical expenses my dad is trying to fly here from India because there is no one else who can commit the time to take care of me in the weeks and months following my release from the rehab center.

Any financial help I receive will go to my out-of-pocket medical bills or paying for my dad to get to the U.S. so that he can live with me for several months while I recover. I am trying to get financial help by January 1 in order to cover the 2021 medical bills and pay for my dad to get here by mid-January.
