On February 9th, 2021, my aunt Mimi passed away from Covid-19. She fought long and hard for a month but sadly she lost that battle.

She was such a strong, trusting, caring, loving, protective, smart, supportive, beautiful, & an inspirational person. As some of you may know, she was a Preschool Teacher Aide at Tokay Elementary in Fontana for more than 25 years. She touched so many hearts & was loved by so many people, including her wonderful students. Our family loves hearing everyone’s memories they had with her. 

Some may not know but she didn’t have kids of her own. We basically were like her kids (that’s speaking for myself, my sister, my daughter, my niece, my cousins, uncles, & aunts). Not only was she like a mother to us, she was also like a sister to my mom & her siblings. 

Mimi loved to travel & she got to see the world. Her life was so wonderful and so inspirational. Our family has always been appreciative of what she did for us all. We deeply miss her and love her so much. But what makes us happy is knowing she is no longer suffering, she went in peace, & now she is united with her lovely mother, Ruth. May they both Rest In Peace.
