Help with recovery after a devastating accident
Our family member Jaylen was in an horrific car accident last month resulting in him being airlifted to the hospital. We’re thankful for his life today. The accident was not without loss though, leaving his car totaled, an immense healthcare bill, and replacing peace with trauma. Jaylen has suffered severe blunt force trauma to his face after being ejected from the car during the crash, leaving him with multiple facial fractures, a broken eye socket, a broken jaw, missing teeth, damaged lungs, and a bruised body. His initial surgeries have resulted in an altered quality of life leaving Jaylen with his mouth/jaw wired shut so that it can heal properly. He is currently on a liquid only diet. As we navigate his current health status, we are also navigating growing healthcare costs. He has another surgery scheduled for August 20th. He will need extensive dental work after several surgeries. Jaylen is a former army reservist of five years and he attended Georgia Southern University prior to the army. His goal is to go back to school for engineering. We’d be so grateful for any donations to help offset the burden of medical bills and other necessary expenses.
