Help with Shelly’s finances while in the hospital

My name is Rachel, and I am fundraising for my best friend Shelly. She was diagnosed with Covid 19 and hospitalized over a month ago. Thankfully, she made it through Covid but developed pneumonia. The pneumonia took over her lungs making it very difficult for her to breath. She was put on a ventilator to assist with breathing.

Once she was able to wake up and discover all that was going on, she still was not out of the woods. After two weeks on the ventilator, the doctors needed to find a way to help with her breathing, due to her lungs still needing some assistance. Shelly then went through the process of having a trachea put in.

Shelly is getting stronger each day. Recently the ventilator was disconnected and she’s able to breath on her own. Therapy has started to strengthen her muscles, and she’s excited to be able to be up on her feet again. She still has a lot of healing to do, but she is determined.

With everything Shelly has been through and still going through, what awaits her at home will be another fight she will have to endure. Before Covid, Shelley was finally able to fulfill her dream of owning her own home. She is fighting and working hard to go home. My goal is to help her have a home to go back to and continue her healing.
